• Fees

We want to make the law as accessible as possible for schools and young people whilst not compromising on the quality of any aspects of its delivery.

Sessions are charged at $8 per a student. There is a minimum speaking fee of $500, however please ask how we can package sessions and accommodate for your needs and budget.

Advance bookings are reserved by a deposit at the discretion of Law in Schools.

    Prices current as at 2025.

  • What does the fee include and exclude?

The fee covers the cost of a qualified lawyer to travel and present including the costs of incentives that are given to encourage student engagement.

Generally, a presenter will come out to your school or venue if you have a preferred one. This cost is not included in the fee and is up to the school to organise.

All audio-visual equipment is to be organised by the School. Law in schools requires a large screen or projector for larger audiences and a microphone will also be required.

  • Cancellations

Please appreciate that Law in schools is a small enterprise. If you need to cancel, we appreciate as much notice as possible. But we understand sometimes things happen!

If you cancel an advance booking and an alternative date cannot be agreed upon, the deposit cannot be refunded.

  • Situated outside of Melbourne and Geelong?

We appreciate your interest in giving your students an opportunity to succeed. Please contact us to see if we can travel to your location!

  • Can you address a specific question or topic for students?

Yes. All sessions are tailored to your school needs. I also ask if there are particular areas within a topic that your school would like to emphasise or focus on. The more information you give., the more Law in Schools can shape the presentation for your requirements.

  • What does a presentation look like?

The presentation will start with an acknowledgement of country. The presenter will then work through legislation through relatable story telling and incentivised participation. Because who doesn’t love to win something!
